Cookies make our Internet presence user-friendlier and enable us to recognise multiple usage of this web offer by the same user. Cookies are needed in particular for the functioning of a web shop.

Some cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. They enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit.

If you do not want this option, you can set your browser in such a way that you are informed about the installation of cookies and you are enabled to allow this only in individual cases.

You can prevent the installation of cookies by an appropriate setting in your browser software; however, we have to inform you that in this case not all website functions can be used – especially ordering via the webshop requires cookies otherwise this is not possible.

7. Analysis of the Buzzidil Websites

To improve and optimisz this web presence we use Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Ireland Limited , Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Irland (“Google” in the following). Google is certified under the Privacy Shield Framework Agreement and thus guarantees maintenance of the European Data Protection Law: www.privacyshield.gov/participant.

We have entered into a corresponding contract with Google. You can find Google‘s Data Protection Declaration here: www.policies.google.com/privacy

Google Analytics uses so-called cookies, text data that is stored on the user’s computer and enables an analysis of the website usage by the user. The information generated by the cookie on usage of this website is normally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

Our task in terms of the DSGVO/Data Protection Basic Regulation is to improve our offer and our web presence. Since our users’ privacy is important to us, user data is processed in a pseudonymisised way. Furthermore we can apply the “Google Tag Manager” system so as to integrate and manage the Google analysis and marketing services into our website (Art. 6 sec 1 lit f DSGVO). The Google Tag Manager doesn’t set cookies by itself.

We activated anonymizeIP for our website: with this extension, IP addresses are re-processed in an abbreviated form in order to cut out direct personal references: the IP anonymisation analytics on this website abbreviates before the IP addresses of a Google user. Only as an exception the full IP address could be transferred to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there.

In the course of using Google Analytics, Google evaluates website usage in order to compile reports on website activities and furthermore to provide services associated with website usage and Internet usage. The IP address transferred from a user’s browser in the framework of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. User data is stored for the duration of 14 months.

Users can prevent the storage of cookies by an appropriate setting in their browser software; however, we wish to inform that in this case the user might not be able to make use of all functions of this website.

In addition we would like to inform you that users can prevent the use of Google Analytics by installing the browser plug-in available through the following link:

http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

You can opt out from this use of data here.

8. Google Marketing

We use Google AdWords and Google Remarketing of Google. We have entered into a corresponding contract with Google for order data processing. You can find the Google Data Protection Declaration here: www.policies.google.com/privacy

Internet users are shown ads. They are shown ads in Google Search and also on different advertising-sponsored websites. Both types of advertising will be shown anyway, as those services are financed by means of the sale of advertising possibilities. By using Google Marketing we have the chance to show our ads to users that are probably more intersted in our products and users rather see advertisments that they might be interested in. So you will rather see ads that might be of interest to you and you might rather not just be annoyed by ads that do not make sense for you.

Remarketing means that ads for products are displayed to a user in which he or she did already show an interest. This involves integrating so-called conversion tags into websites. When a user device accesses the website, a cookie (a small piece of data) is stored which notes the websites the user has visited. When surfing further, the user is shown specific ads based on these references.

Google Adwords saves a cookie on the user’s computer when the user has accessed our website via a Google ad. These cookies lose validity after 30 days and do not serve personal identification. Information accessed by means of the conversion cookie serves to create conversion statistics (for instance through the overall number of users who have clicked the ad). However, we do not receive information that can be used to identify a user personally.

We use Google Marketing based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6 sec 1 lit f GDPR). In addition, we have activated anonymizeIP for our website: as explained in Point 8; with this extension, user data is pseudonymised. This means that neither Google nor advertisers can identify the user: name, e-mail address, etc remain unknown in this procedure.

If you do not wish to take part in the tracking procedure, you can also reject the installation of the cookie required for this – for instance via the browser setting that generally deactivates cookies automatically, or by blocking cookies through the domain “googleadservices.com”.

Moreover you can use the opt-out option installed by Google:

http://www.google.com/ads/preferences.

You can opt out from this use of data here.

9. Social Plugins

In order to avoid unforeseeable data transfers to social media platforms we do not use social plugins (e.g. share or like buttons). Only normal hyperlinks lead to our presence on Facebook, Google+, Youtube, Instagram and Pinterest. Please note that when us use these social platforms their General Terms and Conditions are applicable.

10. Facebook Pixel

In order to analyse and optimize our web presence we use the so-called Facebook Pixel of Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA, or, should the user be resident in the EU, Facebook Ireland Ltd, Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook" in the following).

Facebook is certified under the Privacy Shield Framework Agreement and guarantees the maintenance of the European Data Protection Law: www.privacyshield.gov/participant.

You can find the Facebook data  guidelines here: www.facebook.com/full_data_use_policy.

The social network Facebook is financed through advertisements. This advertising is displayed to every Facebook user. This means that Facebook ads are displayed to Facebook users in any case.

The Facebook Pixel aims to show Facebook users rather ads that presumably comply with their interests. This prevents that completely irrelevant ads that might only be annoying for the user are displayed.

We do use the Facebook Pixel in order that our Facebook ads are only shown to Facebook users who might be interested in our offer. In doing so, we also create so-called custom audiences, whereby we define characteristics (e.g. interests, age groups etc.).

The Facebook Pixel also enables us to determine whether our ad was interesting for Facebook users by seeing whether users clicked the ad or were even linked further to our web presence. Nevertheless, the individual user who clicks the ad remains anonymous to us.

The Facebook Pixel is an opportunity on one hand for companies not to distribute their ads to all useres, regardless whether they are interested in the offer or not. On the other hand, the Facebook Pixel is also useful for Facebook users, because in this case they are rather shown ads that might be of interest for them. Without the Facebook Pixel Facebook users would see as many ads as they see now, however, regardless whether an ad might be of interest for them or just annoying. The use of Facebook Pixel thus represents a legitimate interest according to Art. 6 sec 1 lit f GDPR.

For your information: Users can set what type of ads are shown to them on Facebook:

https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads

You can opt out from this use of data here.

11. Newsletter Service

For the dispatch of our newsletters we use the dispatch service MailChimp of the Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308. Rocket Science Group is certified under the Privacy Shield Framework Agreement and guarantees the maintenance of the European Data Protection Law: www.privacyshield.gov/participant. Please find the privacy declaration of MailChimp here: https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/

As soon as you have registered for our newsletter, we send you a confirmation e-mail with a link to confirm your registration (double opt-in). Newsletter registrations are protocolled (registration date and time, confirmation date and time, IP address), in order to be able to verify the registration process according to legal requirements.

We do analyze how often our newsletter was opened and whether any links were clicked in order to be able to improve our newsletter. We do not get information regarding individual users.

The use of a secure, professional and user-friendly newsletter service like Mailchimp is a legitimate interest according to Art. 6 sec 1 lit. f GDPR.
